About this game

This mini escape room game is similar to a real-world escape room. You need to figure out a series of puzzles to escape from the rooms and you only have a certain amount of time to do it.

This game was developed primarily on Windows and the Chrome browser. Other platforms (both desktop and mobile) and browsers should work. If they don't, we will gladly refund you the full purchase price of this game. Seriously, though, let us know so we can fix it.

Basics

First, and most important, the game will communicate with you through messages on the bottom of the screen. These may be important, so pay attention - especially if you have the sound effects turned off because you might miss something that happens. Messages clear when you change views or rooms so make sure you read them before you go zipping off somewhere.

The game, like a real-world escape room, has a time limit for you to get through it. To start the game, press play

You can pause the game and come back to it, but you can only interact with the game while the clock is running.

If you close out of the browser, your place in the game will be saved. This includes current puzzle state, the room you are in, and time left.

You can reset the game and start over. The clock resets, all rooms and puzzles reset, and you can start from the beginning again..

Maneuvering

You are in a room and can turn around using the left or right arrows to turn to face the wall to your left or right. If you are on a touch-screen device, like a phone or tablet, you can also swipe left or swipe right.

If a door is open, you can (usually) click on the open door to go through it to next room.

Interacting with objects

You will encounter a variety of objects. You can click on them and often take a closer look.

Sometimes you can interact with them in this expanded mode, and sometimes there will be objects that you can pick up. You can only carry one object at a time.

And there will be places where you can put down the object you are holding by clicking on that object.

To return to the normal room view, click on the down arrow. If you are on a touch-screen device you can also swipe down.

Sounds

There are two types of sounds: sound effects and background music. You can turn each one off and on individually using the two control buttons on the right of the control panel.

Hints

Yes, you can get hints if you are really stuck. But seriously, don't. You're better than that. It's just not that hard.
